Overview
Still Dot is designed with privacy at its core. We do not collect, transmit, or share any personal information.
Data Storage
Your thoughts are stored locally on your device using CoreData. If iCloud is enabled, data syncs to your personal iCloud account through Apple's CloudKit. The developer has no access to your data in either case.
Semantic Processing
Still Dot computes a semantic embedding for each thought to determine proximity in the field. This processing happens entirely on your device using a deterministic algorithm. No text is sent to any server.
Analytics and Tracking
Still Dot contains no analytics, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs. No usage data, crash reports, or behavioral information is collected.
Third-Party Services
The only external service used is Apple's iCloud (CloudKit), and only when you have iCloud enabled on your device. No other third-party services are integrated.
Data Deletion
You can fade (soft-delete) individual thoughts within the app. To remove all local data, uninstall the app. To remove iCloud data, manage it through your device's iCloud storage settings.
Children's Privacy
Still Dot does not knowingly collect any information from children. The app does not collect information from anyone.
Changes to This Policy
This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
